Dr. Kosta Cvijovic, CEO and Founder of Cvigilance

Dr. Kosta Cvijovic is a clinical pharmacologist by training with over 20 years of experience in drug safety, in clinical practice, academic research, working for health authorities (Health Canada) and some of the leading names in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry (Pfizer, Roche). Dr. Cvijovic spent his career split between working in North America and Europe, and also has several years of experience working with some of the leading global CROs, providing PV services mostly to small- and mid-size biotechs. In his career, he has successfully passed inspections from major EU (ANSM, MHRA, BfArM) and North American (FDA, Health Canada) authorities, where his fluent knowledge of French and native knowledge of German was often an asset. Mag.a Timea Cvijovic completed her law degree at the University of Vienna and has several years of experience working in a large law office dealing with many different aspects of the legal profession as well as working in regulatory and government affairs for the City of Vienna government and administration. Since joining Cvigilance, Mag.a Cvijovic focuses on legal review and input of documents related to development and approval of pharmaceuticals, including but not limited to trial protocols, IBs, aggregate reports, labelling documents, and submission dossiers, as well as the preparation of CTAs, PVAs, MSAs and other agreements and contracts. Her tasks also include project management of our regulatory and PV tasks, including budget negotiations and oversight, as well as bid defenses, where her native-level knowledge of German, Hungarian and English are a major asset. Mag.a Cvijovic is also the Head of HR for Cvigilance and thus supports hiring and training procedures for our employees,  as well as Head of our QA group where she oversees our QM System. Mag.a Boljanac is a pharmacist with over 30 years of experience both in the clinical field and the pharmaceutical industry, spanning three countries and two continents over the course of her career (Serbia, Austria, Canada). With her native-level knowledge of German, Russian and Serbian, in addition to her tasks as Global Head of PV Operations, she heads our Belgrade, Serbia office, where the majority of our workforce is based. Prof. Dr. Violeta Vucinic is a physician (pulmonologist) with over 35 years of experience in clinical research, teaching, and clinical medicine. Her previous roles include serving as a professor of internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade and as the head of the pulmonology department at one of the largest hospitals in Belgrade, as well as the medical director of numerous clinical studies. Prof. Dr. Vucinic enriches our team as a PV physician.
